I know, I know, this technically isnt makeup or fashion related but sometimes I happen to be a crafty little betch so I wanted to share how to make this adorable bedside ring holder!

it's an easy, inexpensive project and literally anyone can do it - and also because theres zero reason to spend 12 bucks at Urban Outfitters for something wayyy more original...

the backstory behind this project started with the aquisition of a 2x3 mini silver frame from the 'chachki' pile at my grandparents. I had the perfect place for it in mind next to my bed on a then empty floating shelf but choosing a picture to be made into a 2x3 size just seemed complicated and I thought there had to be something better to do with this mini frame!

Down below are the step by steps and supplies.

What you'll need:

  • Mini 2x3 frame (usually Michael's has them)

  • Small piece of foam from jewelry packaging

  • Burlap or other fabric

  • Scissors

  • Fancy Pin

To Start:

Take the back of the frame off and carefully pop out the glass.

If necessary cut down the foam to fit your frame.

Second, cut your fabric down to size making sure to leave enough to cover the edges.

Next, wrap the fabric around the foam and place fabric covered foam in the frame, making sure it’s even and smoothing out any fabric bunches. Readjust and then shut and lock the back of the frame.

Insert the pin about 1/3 of the way down angling towards the frame and hang your rings!
