Wearing white after Labor Day, if its done correctly (the operative word being correctly) is OKAY! Yes, I promise you it is! I think as long as you follow a few simple guidelines like 1. stick with a neutral color palette with the rest of your outfit and accessories, it will keep it looking sophisticated and fresh. 2. Keep in mind what fabric your white is (i.e. linen in the middle of winter just doesn't work) and 3. just don't go overboard! I decided to pair my white jeans with a heather grey three quarter sleeve cashmere sweater because the weather is still kind of chilly here in NY. Nude pumps and a chunky pink jeweled necklace dressed this look up perfectly as I was on my way out to have dinner and drinks with my girls :)
